About the Learnership
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering an exciting 12-month Visual Merchandiser Learnership for unemployed youth who are passionate about sales, marketing, and customer service.
The programme combines structured workplace learning with practical experience, providing learners with the skills and knowledge needed to support sales growth, execute merchandising standards, improve product visibility, and build strong customer relationships.
The successful learner will report to the Account Developer and work closely with the sales team and customers within a designated geographical area.
Key Responsibilities
In-Store Execution and Merchandising
- Execute daily call schedules across assigned customer outlets.
- Implement visual merchandising standards according to Coca-Cola brand guidelines.
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and quality standards are maintained.
- Conduct stock rotation and manage in-store displays.
- Complete execution scorecards and iRED surveys.
- Assist customers with placing orders through the MyCCBA platform.
- Support promotional campaigns and marketing activities.
- Provide relief support when required by management.
Customer Engagement
- Build positive relationships with customers.
- Support sales initiatives that contribute to volume growth.
- Assist customers in understanding ordering processes and merchandising requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens.
- Be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Have Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy (minimum 40% pass rate).
- Have Grade 12 English and a second language (minimum 40% pass rate).
- Be unemployed at the time of appointment.
- Not be enrolled in any learnership, internship, or full-time studies.
- Not have previously completed the same qualification or learnership at another company.
- Have no criminal record or adverse credit record.
- Be willing to undergo criminal, identity, and qualification verification checks.
- Be available to work six days per week.

Qualification Information
The learnership runs for a period of 12 months.
