Richards Bay Minerals is inviting applications for its 2026 Work Integrated Learning Programme (P1/P2).
The programme is aimed at providing students from Universities of Technology with practical workplace experience required to complete their academic qualifications and prepare for careers in the mining and minerals sector.
Successful learners will participate in a structured workplace-based learning programme designed to develop both technical and professional skills within a dynamic operational environment.

Applications are invited from students studying within:
- Engineering disciplines
- Humanities disciplines
β Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be unemployed South African youth
- Be final-year students at a University of Technology
- Have Grade 12 / Matric
- Possess a valid South African Driverβs License (minimum Code B)
- Require P1/P2 in order to graduate
- Not have completed previous P1/P2 or vacation work experience before
- Reside within the King Cetshwayo District Municipality, KwaZulu-Natal

- Stamped letter from the University of Technology confirming P1/P2 requirement (minimum 12 months)
- Certified copy of Matric certificate
- Certified academic statement of results
- Certified copy of South African ID

- Certified proof of residence / domicile address
