The Sekhukhune District Municipality is inviting qualified candidates to apply for 25 permanent Firefighter positions.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 or higher qualification
- Firefighter I course certificate
- Hazmat Awareness certificate
- First Aid Level 3
- Code EB Driver’s Licence
- Medical Test NFPA 1582
- No criminal record
- Must be physically and mentally fit
Experience Required
- Minimum of 1 year operational firefighting experience
Skills & Competencies
Candidates should have:
- Knowledge of firefighting procedures and policies
- Understanding of fire safety codes and bylaws
- Ability to identify fire safety risks
- Ability to perform firefighting duties under supervision
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively within communities
